Sometimes during the summer people would be happy with a delicious sandwich with healthy sides for dinner instead of a heavy hot dish. This dinner was another wonderful wholesome dinner that our loyal volunteers packed and dispersed last Sunday. The sandwich was accompanied by a gorgeous fresh salad (below) and watermelon and of course chips and a cookie for dessert. The crew puts a lot of time into planning meals out ahead of time. At this meal we had volunteers with a table with hygiene kits as well, which is very helpful during this trying time of COVID-19 where many of the restrooms which are usually opened to the public, are no longer available. We really could not do this each week without all of the donors who dedicate their time, their food, their talent and items to bring this together each week. Thank you to all of you for helping and contributing to make this happen!
